English Grammar Finally Understood, 2nd Edition © 1998

During my first year of teaching (1962 - 63), I taught grammar the way it was presented in the book that was given to me by the high school where I worked. The results were disappointing. The next year I presented the material the way I understood it myself. As the course progressed, many of the students actually said things like, "Wow! I finally understand this stuff!" Over the years, I have heard similar comments scores of times; many students even suggested that I write a book. The result is English Grammar Finally Understood.

The book has 16 chapters in 176 pages, in 8.5- X 11-inch format. It covers everything (including punctuation) from the most basic aspects of sentence structure to instruction in composition writing. Included with the book is an instructor’s manual, which includes helpful information for teachers (and parents who use it in home-schooling their children), along with answers to the exercises at the end of the book.

If you would like to purchase my book and attend my English sessions, please send a personal check in the amount of $40.00 to me at:
